Why struggle when help is at hand?
In days of olde
When Knights were bold
And suits were made of tin
They had a Squire whose sole desire
Was to help the person within
In bygone days a knight typically took his squire into battle and gave him a chance to prove himself. If he proved his loyalty and skill in battle, he would receive a ‘dubbing’ – an official ceremony that made him a knight.
I am a modern-day squire, based on the borders of North Yorkshire and Teesside, and I seek to assist others through optimistic engagement, and practical advice and support. I have been ‘‘dubbed’’ many times by individuals, organisations and communities for my support in addressing their, often unique, challenges.
I am an optimist and pragmatist and have ‘’earned my spurs’’ working with people who have faced significant lifetime challenges in their plight to be all they can be. I have helped them to believe in themselves and reach their goals by practical means.
If you need advice and support from a “Squire Pragmatic Optimist” in “shining armour” please contact me.
